In 2000 Nursery Traders adopted a goal that would become one of cornerstones of
our business - to conduct our business with integrity, employing
sound business and environmental practises.
Since then, we have invested heavily in improvements that equip our nursery to
harvest and recycle water, and generate solar power. As a result, today we are
almost entirely water and solar-power self-sufficient.
In order to source the majority of our power needs from renewable energy we have installed
the largest privately owned solar power generation system in Queensland.
